I finally took the time to make some copies of the factory mudflap brackets.
It was more work than I had planned but they should work well for those trying to keep their car stock appearing.

The brackets are unpainted to allow better adhesion to the fender when using whatever bonding process you prefer.
I recommend painting the faces before installing your mudflaps.

Single brackets are priced at $35.00 each. If you order a pair, the second bracket is only $30.00

Shipping is a flat rate of $10.00 for however many you order.
If you combine your order with a friend, you will save money on the brackets and the shipping.

Great job Larry

To anyone that is not sure if they need this, trust me you do!! You cannot buy this bracket from a dealer. If you lose one(I've lost two) you have to buy a NEW FENDER$$$$$
Don't wait until you lose one to order, have it on hand.

As we all know Larry's products are always topshelf!!

Larry

I didn't think the original bracket could be improved, but you really have come up with a VERY FUNCTIONAL version.

I agree with Jeff (SirReal) that if you don't order a set of these brackets, YOU WILL BE SORRY at some point in the future!!! I've lost two brackets in the past.

I'm ordering a pair for myself...

Larry,
Thanks for fabricating these for the group. I would like a pair. I will pay pal you this evening from home. This item is as valuable as keeping a spare set of trans sensors or convertible top clips.

ersfr,

I'm sorry! I had forgotten to check back on this thread.
I don't know anything about the bonding processes.
I'm sure there are others on the board that can answer your question. My suggestion would be to check with a local auto body shop or body shop supplier for their recommendations.

I still have a few left of my first production run. The brackets in my next run will cost $10.00 more per bracket.

Order now if you want some of the remaining first run brackets at the original pricing.

Larry if you don't mind my butting in, I highly suggest a product called Marine-Tex available at boating supply stores. It is an easy two part process. Get the small box and mix the whole thing. This stuff is made for metal and fiberglass. I used it and my mudflaps are so low they scrape bugs on the road I used three A-clamps, one on each bolt and let it cure for 24 hrs. Great Stuff!

I finally took the time to make another batch of mudflap brackets.

These brackets are much more labor intensive than I had originally planned so as I stated after making the initial run, the prices are $10.00 per bracket higher than the first batch.
