No, think he meant the ceiling top-hoist from top-hoist.com. Have got the electric version (recommended) and it works ok except engine casing had to be tightened to stop oil leak and install instr could be tweaked.

Real interest however is the hydraulic hoist on the tube video. Have seen this many times and would buy it in a flash if were still available. Solve many probs with hts including top coming loose and seal to rear deck. My TGF Gen 1 is warped and light shows thru even when pins are set correctly. Hydraulics would pull for a tighter seal.

Anyone remember this when it was sold, who made it, and who to contact ?????????

Yes it is the top- hoist and it is manual.
Easy to use because you can control how fast it moves.

Ron, If you are serious about selling, You will need to adjust your price. It has been for sale now 3 years, Most Prowlers are going for the high 20s with the milage you have stated. I know you have alot into the car, but the economy is killing your sale.
Best of luck on your sale as I have heard it is a clean car.

I have a feeling that if your car is for sale for over 3 years you really don't want to sell it. Maybe the wife is saying, you need to sell that car and the answer is I'm trying. The old saying goes, "I'll sell anything if the price is right". Good Luck Ron and keep driving it.

Free Bump up.

If you watched Barrett Jackson last weekend they sold 3 Prowlers
Yellow 2002 14,561 miles $33,000.00
Red 1999 less than 24,000 miles again $33,000.00
I think a Black 2000 - 15,000 miles $29,000.00
And no extras went with the cars
i have a lot of extras that go with the car and it is like new.
Don't need to sell but we just don't drive it much.
Thanks for the look
Ron

Ron , there are also many that went for $ 21 to $ 28 thousand, If you remember a few months ago , one of our members here , I believe from Florida got the shaft selling at Barretts, You take your chances with them. The economy has hit the Prowler hard as most need to put food on the table instead of buying 2 seater cars for play. I hope the best for your sale, but if you are serious about selling, drop your price, or take a chance with your existing price , your choice, It all depends how bad you need to sell her. Some of the prices I have seen over the last 2 years are sickening. Best of luck as I know you have a clean car.

Ron, my advice is to remove all the extras, including the HARDTOP and then sell the stock car in the mid $20s. Then sell the extras separately and probably come within a couple thou of what you want.

Very good idea, The hitch alone goes for $ 500.00 Hardtop another couple thousand. You could probably do this to maximize your profit on the car

Plus you have to -10% sellers fee, plus ship or drive the car there, that knocks $5000 off your price, plus no guarantee how much it goes for. Extras are great as long as someone wants them, like others have said sell them seperate and the car will sell easier. Just trying to help if you really want to sell it.

Thanks for all your support and ideas.
But i would rather just sell everything to who ever buys the car.
People have called and want to know what goes with the car and have asked the price and i have told them but no one has made an offer.
So for now i will just wait for an offer.
Thanks again for all your thoughts

Hi Ron, I see you reduced your price some. With warmer weather coming and someone wanting a hardtop also, you have a much better chance of selling. Good Luck with your sale.
