Talk about inference LOL. What the hell does politics have to do with a prowler hardtop. This is a typical example of how this character SPINS his poison throughout the site.

The only obvious design difference that I see between the two is the broader band around the window on the PS top. Other than that and the TGF history, there is little difference.

Yes I agree brand new as opposed to used, scratched, chipped and sagging head liner the P/S top is the better buy for the money. Glad you're now convinced.

Silver, its funny that Efrem has such a hard on for the TGF brand, when he seldom if at all NEVER drove his prowler, and now it sits up for sale ... and the little minion Wizard of Odd chirps in likely because he tried his hardest to put the kibosh on the rejuvenated side panel program, and thus has a hard on against any copy cat product like the P/S hardtop ... funny at most, sad at best.

I, for one, think Efrem has a point.

There are those who would prefer to buy a used TGF hardtop over a new ps one.

The ps hardtop is readily available to anyone that wants it. Yet still, some will wait for a TGF hardtop and pay as much as a new ps hardtop for it. It doesn't mean one is inferior to the other. It's simply a preference.

It seems someone's ego got bruised.

No bruised egos here simply opinions which everyone is entitled to. Unless of course your ego is bruised that I have an opinion which doesn't match yours. I seem to recall you PM'd me while back wanting to buy my hardtop. I was not selling but sent you all the info. you requested on the P/S top to help you out.

Exactly what I am seeing and hearing people who want hardtops are waiting for a tgf to pop up than buy a p.s I think it more has to with originality and history than anything the same thing most people were trying to say about the oval side panels.....but again just my opinion. .
p.s
See what you started here golfy with your hardtop...lol

Personally I think you all need to chill.

We have a say in Portuguese that roughly translates like this "Opinions (Tastes) are like ass-holes, everybody has one ... and you don't discuss your ass-hole .. do you ?"

Never thought of it as a "copy cat product". Guess some are all over the board on that.

OK my top is worthless your point made. You're such a fan and so concerned with the great history of TGF and yet you sell your precious Prowler in the blink of an eye lash? Why do I think all this TGF praise is all about how much money you can get. Surely a custodian of history, as yourself, would preserve your Prowler and not come and go so fast here. Seems you're a quick come and easy go see it all the time here but again I'm not the car expert you are...P.S. I guess you've made the best argument against your knock off lic. plate holders. Nothing like those originals so you should stop flooding the market w/cheap repops.

I think he's the one who took it from a classified sale of your top to a debate about the Fabulous TGF history. I say if you want to knock something open your own thread as to the great history of TGF instead of piggy backing on a sold classified thread.

The difference is i had Mac's permission to remake the brackets because from previous discussions he no longer wanted the project but there was still a demand for them....thats where I came in....and plus enhanced them to look better.

Since you obviously have all the answers for the Prowler in the short time you've been on here and because you say they're improved just because you say it tell me or pls. post your proof that the P/S tops were made without permission or more bluntly illegally. How do you know the P/S tops have not been improved from the TGF tops. You tend to not want to talk about TGF's many complaints of poor service, ill fitting and inferior quality. Since you're such a fan of history search the site and you will see endless bashing and complaints from people who probably know a lot more than you about the horrendous service and TGF's total lack of standing behind there stuff. I can tell you P/S will help you out if there should be a problem or does that not fit into you're argument? You say you've been hearing how everyone hold out for TGF stuff. Where are you hearing this or is it just the few threads you've read recently and thus your totally scientific conclusion. You seem to be the premier expert on all things Prowler but I think I'll err on the side of Phil, Gary and all the others who know what they're talking about and haven't sold all their Prowler stuff after a year.

Well that's great but I notice you never address any of the points made and the fact that you buy and sell so many probably would disqualify you as an expert on Prowlers, TGF or anything else. These guys on here are all experts on everything Prowler so you're really making my point. Many members here have car collections and certainly are not stuck on 1 car as you say. That would include me.

WOW .... like the guys doing the side panels .... your statement rings true to their cause as well, except the company that originally made them quit.

Sorry guys this is a discussion/debate. No name calling. Must we sing kumbayah? Not posting cause of this? Is everyone this sensitive? Really? If it was something you guys felt strongly about I bet you'd have a different take.
