Just want to say, that Jay Harris has made a beautiful cover for the side light where the Kat is clear with a colored surround. I should post pics later this week. This is a one of many, new secret projects that he has going on right now. If the tape is too difficult you may want to wait to see these, as they are brand new and I am unsure of Jays pricing right now! Jay- sorry hope you dont mind me letting the Kat out of the bag!! Geno, I decided not to come up since Sandy's itinerary was still a mystery as of Tue or Wed. I have plenty to do here and it did not make sense to go to Chicago to sit by myself most of the time. I wish I could have made it but it didn't work out. I sent you an email. |

Clee, no, I could not find any orange vinyl that was close to the correct color. Sorry. They may make it but the guy that makes them does not stock any orange that is passable. |

This post may be a little late but ..... You could purchase a set of the raised clear cat shimmers from Jay Harris, put them on your side marker lights, paint them,the cat, with a thin coat of vasoline then spray paint the marker light the color of the car. When it dries the next day wipe off the cat decal and you have a raised clear cat over the painted lense. We use to do this with parts on our hot rods years ago that we wanted the surrounding area painted but not the chrome. Just a thought.  ------------------ |
