Hey Waynew.

How the playoffs coming?

I'm back in Louisiana...

Since Dean claims there's only .3 of a second difference between your Kat with headers & prowler pro gears and the paxton supercharged cars, maybe he'll put up a set of headers for this match race...

Jordon when will Dean be done with your Kat. I don't mind waiting unitl it is done as well... What about Ray with Dean's twin intake system installed on his Kat....

It would be nice to have all four setups here....

My Black is still the second fastest Prowler in Texas behind Mike's Black. Please do correct me if I'm wrong on that statement. His Blue stroker hasn't run yet that I'm aware of. So Wayne, bring on the Yellow and don't bring your lunch 'cause we won't be there that long!! hehehe

Fred; Thanks for the complement on my driving skills,
FYI: You had just put gears in your car when we raced, and I was 100% stock, remember!

Waynew.

Here's my previous post... I'll be at No Problem next Friday, Nov. 28th to test yoiur claim that your setup is within .3 seconds as fast as paxton (according to Dean's Prowler Pro site)...

Here's my previous post...

Waynew. That's great. Just give me a date you & me.
Than in January we'll get several Kat owners together...

What about Thanksgiving weekend (Fri Nov. 28th). No Problem has Turkey Drags on Fri & Sat. Track opens at noon on Friday with time trials at 1:00 pm... http://www.noproblemraceway.com/npr/thanksgiving%202003%20flyer.pdf

Just give me a date Nov, Dec or Jan.
Check out their website for dates.... http://www.noproblemraceway.com/npr/

The January event should be before the end of January. Once I get Marty's dates he's going to be in New Orleans, I'll try and get everyone to get here..

But, you & me first. That works for me...

Waynenew, every time you post it is about how fast your car does circles or 360's. Does it pull real bad to one side? lol. If you can figure out how to go straight you might want to attend the drag races in June!

When I can get the video on the web then you can decide who is having the most fun!! I have victoracer tires on the front with unlimited grip, so you can turn the wheel and do a snap turn no problem. Just like the winner of the Daytona 500 did at the end of the race last weekend.
If I only had a pair of race tires for the back, anyone know of 20" race tires? cnote6 any ideas?

I have a pair but they only work going in a straight line 1320' long.

Mike, if Tami sends you film of my PT flying down NO PROBLEM RACEWAY last year will you post it? Laddie was really impressed. We are still laughing about it.

Mike and Ed: Sorry, no longer have the video - had to turn it into a flip book to make it look like Ed was actually moving. Tami

The RUMOR is FALSE...

Based on results from the 4th annual Prowler Drags at the Texas Stampede... That's one of the advantages of putting these performance mods to the real test on the track in side by side racing, same day, same track & weather conditions...

Here's the results from June 10th race.

Using the best ET of the night comparing the two setups.
1) Paxton low boost SC with gears (three cars #1, #16, & #18)

#1 13.4937
#16 13.9543
#18 13.3091
Average low ET of the three = 13.5857

2) Dean's Headers & Gears (two cars #3 & #25)

#3 14.8983
#25 14.6004
Average low ET of the two = 14.74935

So, there is 1.2 seconds difference between the two configurations... not .3 as reported or rumored....

So didn't Rich run a 14.74 without the headers? Sort of tells me unless you have a little more engine or head work you might want to save a dollar or two. At least they ran in the 14's consistantly which is not bad.
