I've read thriugh all the threads about trimming the mud flaps and decided to trim them 1". Question, did you follow the contour up the sides for trimming, or did you just cut off the bottom of the flap?

I followed the contour. They will look much better. They still drag over speed bumps, but if you cut any more you may as well not have them on.

Lay one inside the other. Draw a line for the countour then mark the other one the same way. Then trim both following the lines you have just drawn.

Thanks guys, they were really easy. Cut them with tin snips, filed smooth. They look great.
