Anyone know if someone makes the big vacuum piece on the left front of the intake in chrome like this one? I spoke to my chrome guy and he said he couldn't chrome it since there was a diaphragm inside. Wonder if this was polished?

I have been led to believe that the Prowler has an 'active intake manifold' with two sets of runners inside the plenum. One for low speed torque, the other for top end horse power. That dash pot is what probably controls the butterfly device between the two runners. It would be "OK" to polish it. I do not think it would survive the chroming process.

Just send Scott an email. He usually answers them in a day or so. It's definately the nice route to go since the entire thing is chromed including the bolts, mount, etc...

So now I'm looking at braided lines. The first picture is the slip on cover stuff. From what I'm finding is that unless you can braze a threaded tip on that the areoquip is not an option. So should I stay with clean hoses and 303? Although the pic looks good I just can't bring myself to using the slip on stuff. Opinions or options out there? And nice quality piece as usual Scott.

I also make s.s. braided brake lines with polished s.s. end pieces. It's a bolt on kit that replaces the orig' hose and all it's fittings. There's no core charges-you keep your old lines. There easy to install. All the hardware is included. The price is 275.oo unless you order it with my front brake set up which cuts the price to 250.oo. Call me if you have questions at 650-967-3609. I have these in stock. send the bucks to:
