As most of you predicted, the tranny did not hold up with the torque from the V-8. Any information on beefing up the pressure and clutches would be greatly appreciated. Also, what ratio gears do some of the fast Kats use? It appeared that the tranny would hold up with a little restraint. I guess I did not have any. Thanks for your help |

Fred Henkel (prowlyn) has a guy that makes a beefed upo clutch pack. Westech Automotive (3262-889-4346) has a higher stall torque convertor and has rebuilt some of te trannies. I think Dean (Prowlerpro) has a TC also. How did you get the Hemi ECU to communicate with the tranny? This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 02-17-2006 at 11:46 PM |

By far the most difficult part of the installation was the communication of the computer to the tranny. Finally we received help from Street and Performance. They will make a conversion harness. www.hotrodlane.cc Also I have posted a few quick shots of the '99 Kat. Still working on a small hood scope.
