Yes it is, I absolutely agree. Furthermore he kept is simple and stuck to the manufacturers' parameters while he was at it.

FANTASTIC IDEA.....ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. LOOKS FACTORY. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET A PATENT!!!!!!!!!! SOMETHING LIKE THIS AND AS GREAT A JOB YOUR BODY SHOP DID.....THINK ABOUT THIS....OVER 11,000 PROWLERS MANUFACTURED......A LOT OF POTENTIAL. IF YOU'RE NOT RETIRED YET, THIS COULD BENEFIT YOUR RETIREMENT! EVEN IF YOU DON'T PROCEED WITH PRODUCTION YOURSELF...SOMEBODY ELSE MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR PATENT/RIGHTS FROM YOU!!!!!!! |

So, this is the whole deck lid? Original is not used. Am I right? Thanks |

quote: Yes, it is a whole new lid. Both the rear deck lid & trunk door are made of fiberglass. Includes mini struts for the door. This is a great option & even better if you have a hardtop!! |

Just a thought that I noticed about the weatherstripping in Branson... there was a 1/2" gap at the top center. Due to water running down off the decklid might be better to have that at the bottom. |

Question. What is the weight difference between aluminum and fiberglass. My side panels are three to four times heavier then the originals. |

My interest is still there. I really like this design. I went out and bought a hard top a few month's ago so I now have a very serious interest in accessibility to the trunk area. Please put my name on your list. |

Please send me a email if you are interested. I have two possible guys that can make them. They want to know the quantity in order to come up w/ a cost. Matt Murphy shillelagh@sbcglobal.net |

After watching Koolkitty's new video while he was on his road trip showing Tom Mill's trunk lid design on Larry Mayes yellow Prowler, I remembered seeing another design. Some Prowler owners never knew this existed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7FJxoA67sU http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum9/HTML/003137.html |

I think it’s also a great idea. Would this one work with either Gary’s or an original TGF trunk lid spoiler I wonder? |

Based on the photos it is likely that the TGF / Prowlerproducts spoiler would clear. I have one mounted on the Tom Mills two piece deck lid, so I know that works with a spoiler. |

Larry Bell's friend in New Castle Indiana has this trunk lid on his Prowler. I don't have a picture of his car and can't remember if he had the spoiler mounted on his or not but he did have a hard top on his car.
