I am bringing this thread back up to see if there is any interest in this type of deck lid for the Hardtop owners.
I may look into having some made if there is enough interest. Not sure of the cost, it would depend how many would be made.

is there a weatherstrip to go on it?

will you modify and reinstall any of the original lid insulation?

I think that's a fantastic mod that will likely be very popular!

congrats.... looks great!

Weatherstrip will go on today, this guy is a Pro, he has a recess in the deck for the weatherstripping!

will you modify and reinstall any of the original lid insulation?
I will have that done at a later date

I think that's a fantastic mod that will likely be very popular!

congrats.... looks great!

Have you had enough interest to warrant producing these and if so have you come up with an estimated sales price and anticipated date of production?

The craftsmanship looks second to none and is an overall great idea.

The only down side I can see if you produce these is that I will have no good reason to NOT buy a hardtop. Maaaaaannnn

I have a hardtop and this would be great. I could access the trunk with the top on.

It looks like there is some interest. Not sure how many people would want one. A price is being worked up as we speak.

superb mod
your guy does great work

clor match? greenish or brownish tint ??
the trick on the INCA Gold is more coats after base
the metallic has to come thru more and requires more coats than other colors from all the stuff i had painted to match

Beautiful! I would definitely be interested. Not being able to access the trunk is the only downside to the hardtop. Great job...
