1/12/15 I am bringing this thread back up to see if there is any interest in this type of deck lid for the Hardtop owners. I may look into having some made if there is enough interest. Not sure of the cost, it would depend how many would be made.

is there a weatherstrip to go on it? will you modify and reinstall any of the original lid insulation? I think that's a fantastic mod that will likely be very popular! congrats.... looks great! This message has been edited by hotroddaddy on 06-03-2009 at 11:56 PM |

color match, did you use ppg paint, and do sprayout cards first, you might have to blend lid,not a easy color to butt match. ------------------ |

Have you had enough interest to warrant producing these and if so have you come up with an estimated sales price and anticipated date of production? The craftsmanship looks second to none and is an overall great idea. The only down side I can see if you produce these is that I will have no good reason to NOT buy a hardtop. Maaaaaannnn |

I have a hardtop and this would be great. I could access the trunk with the top on. |

Beautiful! I would definitely be interested. Not being able to access the trunk is the only downside to the hardtop. Great job... ------------------ |
