I'm so very impressed with the Hemi Hi Boy that I check updates every few hours. Very nice ride.

After many views I see one thing that I would want to change: 15" rear wheels with big slicks and maybe a set of skinnies for the front.

Hemi Hi Boy you need a matching Snakesskin Green trailer to go along w/that gorgeous Prowler you built.

You'll need a place to keep all the trophies. Great car great color.

Just in case any of you were wondering how I got around fueling the car with a hard top after shaving everything; here is where the fuel fill is now.

I like the before pictures as well. Please continue to share with us. How has it been driving? Still no cooling issues with the air on in Florida? The early testing was favorable.

Going to repeat my caution. They to avoid wide open throttle up-shifts from third to fourth.

Bob
I'll post progression photos as I get time.
Still no issues after ~1000 miles since build completion.
Honestly I was not really ever too concerned about the cooling either. Being an Engineer, I am of the mindset that most anything is possible if you draw assistance from the right talent pool and have proper planning. I bought this car specifically to do this build and actually drove it to Mike's place directly from where I bought it to see if his team was up for the challenge (& also to review progress on my 08 challenger mods). So I only drove the car about 3 times before starting to dismantle it. Thanks to your help and Mikes team it was a success and still is a success! I am watching myself on the shifts but it's so tempting to just let it rip!!! Good thing it's so light and dont have slicks on it so the tires don't hook up easily out of the hole or I can only imagine needing a shelf full of spare transaxles(Lol).

Wow! Everything is perfect. The build is awesome and very tastefully done. I have always liked the Viper snakeskin green color. Looks great on the Prowler. Very very nice.

HemiHiBoy, if you've already got a 1,000 miles on it, a number of miles in the heat of Florida with the air running both in traffic and on the road, I'd say that the planning and engineering paid off. If someone wants to replicate the Hemi installation, they can safely follow in your footsteps.

Where can one source such a fuel filler entry and why did you decide on this one?
Over say, the ford "easyfuel" filler?

Jay that is a marine filler, don't know why he choose that one but in my opinion it looks better than anything else, very low profile for clearance in the door jamb.

My personal opinion I would NEVER want an ez fill. I see dirt getting in the tank every time you fill up and if it doesn't seal trip to dealer for an expensive repair

WC, I'm glad you knew this I'd have never thought to use a boat filler.

I shall google different kinds and try to find one. I'm guessing in the middle that is a screw cap that he twists off to fill and back on when done? I wonder if he throws CEL's from the kat's computer thinking the fuel cap doesn't have enough clicks...

Some cars I've previously owned would throw a CEL if you didn't click the fuel cap with at least 1 click.
